Booking A Session
- Please call 646-228-6463 to book your appointment.
- I book sessions on the telephone or in person only.
- I do not use text messaging.
- I do respond to emails. I insist on talking to people before scheduling a first session. I do not schedule or cancel by email because I don't check it often enough.
Please give at least 24 hours notice to cancel any session or you will be charged for the session.
- I will ask for a credit card number, expiration date and your zip code to hold your first appointment.
- I will check the card. If you cancel any appointment at the last minute or do not show up, I will charge that card.
My office address is:
130 8th Street, ground floor
Brooklyn, NY 11215.
I only accept walk-in business, at community-style acupuncture events,
all other appointments are scheduled in advance.
Before Your Session
- I recommend that you eat within three hours of your session. Some people get light-headed after a session, especially on an empty stomach.
- If it is practical, please wear loose comfortable clothing. This will allow free movement and may allow easier access to areas where I may be inserting acupuncture needles.
- Please do not wear perfume, cologne, scented lotions, or body splashes. I am very allergic to perfume as are many others. Perfume tends to linger and may make others ill as well.
- Before your first session, please visit the Brochure and Forms page, print and complete the forms, and bring them with you. This will give you time to read the forms and think about your answers.
Once you arrive
Please be on time.
When you come in for the first time, or if it's been more than 6 months since I've seen you, I will ask you to fill out an intake form that reviews your medical history and current health status.
I need to know about all medications and supplements that you are taking.
- If you are on multiple medications or have difficulty remembering what you are taking, please bring a written list of medications,
- their dosage,
- how often you take them
- and who prescribed them.

Jewelry Policies
I make one-of-a-kind beaded jewelry.
- I will repair any of my pieces for a period of one year.
- Please return all the parts.
- If there are any missing pieces, I may or may not have matching beads.
- I will make an effort to match any missing pieces as closely as possible.
- There will be a charge for replacement beads.
- Please pay the shipping.
- As above, I cannot promise to match beads to lengthen any piece.
- As long as it does not compromise the design, I will shorten any necklace or bracelet, to your specifications, after you have paid for it.
- Depending on my schedule, I will make an effort to make custom pieces using beads I have in stock.
- I will not reproduce anyone else's piece.
- Custom orders require a 50% deposit.
- All designs are dependent on availability of stones.
- The web site contains all the jewelry I have in stock on the date I updated the web site last. I make an effort to keep the web site up to date, but things that have been sold may remain on the site and it may take some time for new pieces to appear.
- Prices are as marked on the price sheets (wholesale = retail). You can bring the list up at the same time as the pictures and they should be in the same order.
- Most of the Necklaces and some of the bracelets have earrings made to match. Each piece is priced separately. If you would like to buy the set, the price is $10 less than the sum of their prices.
- Any other price reductions must be negotiated with me.
- Unless you give me a resale certificate in NYS, I am required to collect NYC sales tax on any sale of merchandise.
Thank you
Prices and policies are effective as of 28 September 2008 and are subject to change without notice.
